Scope and contact

This policy describes AirSnoopGuard 1.3.0 from Stoic Sprint. For privacy questions, email stoicsprint@gmail.com.

Motion and device information

The app uses CoreMotion head-motion samples to estimate your turn relative to the center you set. Motion samples remain in memory; the app does not save or transmit a movement history.

If you request a recovery tone, the app reads the selected audio output, its Bluetooth transport type, and device identifier to direct a short sound to that output. The identifier is not saved, uploaded, or used for tracking. The app does not record audio or use a microphone.

Camera and face data

Camera fallback is optional and off by default. After you enable it and grant permission, the app uses the built-in camera while valid AirPods motion is unavailable. AVFoundation and Vision process frames locally to detect a face and estimate head angle.

Frames, temporary face locations, and estimated angles are used in memory for tracking and the selected no-face behavior. The app does not record video, save images or face templates, identify you, or share face data with any third party. Temporary tracking state is discarded when capture stops; there is no stored face-data history.

You can stop camera processing by switching fallback off, pausing protection, or quitting. Capture also stops when AirPods motion returns. You can revoke camera permission in macOS System Settings.

Local settings

Preferences such as sensitivity, opacity, appearance, camera fallback, no-face behavior, protection state, and panel position are stored locally through macOS preferences in the app’s sandbox. They are not synced or sent to the developer. System uptime is used for in-app timing.

The bundled privacy manifest declares these local preference and timing uses. It declares no tracking domains or collected data types.

Collection, sharing, and third-party services

The app includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs, and has no application network communication. It does not collect sensor data for a developer server, sell it, or share it.

Apple distributes the app through the App Store and TestFlight and may handle store, testing, or diagnostic information under Apple’s policies and your settings. These platform services are distinct from the app’s local sensor processing.
